I simply made the colors with water and food dye. I gave her an eye dropper that came with her science kit, and some paper towels, laid atop a plastic bag to protect the table.
She had a blast!
We even tried painting a piece of cotton cloth. It looked great! It does completely wash out when laundered, however.
